    *sigh* Yesterday I picked up a nice WOK, after saving stickers for a few months to qualify for the discount. This mornig I went to the shop again to exchange it, because the anti-stick coating was flawed (a spot of rust under it made it flake off). I checked the new pan in the shop, just in case.

    Good morning !tzag !fediverse Interesting weather... last night rain slowly turned into snow, and it got white but by the time I went to bed the snow had turned into wet snow and was already melting. This morning most of the snow already had melted away but just now we suddenly got a new shower, this time with tiny hailstones, turning things white(-ish) again. Sort of wintry weather, but it might as well be March, too... I'll make another cup of !coffee to combat by confusion then.

    @maiyannah yes yes - I once copied about 2TB worth photographs from an old slow drive to a new one; one reason the old drive was extra-slow was it was about so each 'read' probably had to be repeated many times before it was trustable and ready to be sent on its way. The whole process took about 2 months, only losing about 5 photographs or so.
