@mmn because there is no package, even with backports. There is only #xcache but that is only available for 5.4.

@roland I’ve not used either. I generally use #xcache.

@lnxw48 #apc and #xcache were both segfaulting (older days) so I kept them off. Maybe #xdebug should be disabled ... ;-)

@roland Is it any faster without #meteor? Also, do you have caching ( #xcache, #apc, #memcache, etc ) running?

Definitely needs to cache database queries in #memcached, maybe #apc or #xcache for #PHP, too.

@morph @roland @vinzv @kromonos I used to use #xcache on a previous !SN instance. It seemed to work well. Not sure it is currently maintained, or how well it works with !gnusocial.
