@mbjunior @mk Isn't that where you'd switch to #Perl or !TclTk or !Python (whichever you were most comfortable with) and not relearn a particular task every few months?

@jonkulp @perloid It was my impression that #Perl 6 is "another language in the same family" as Perl 5, not a replacement. There may not be as big of a resurgence as some expect.

@chimo @dragnucs @mk Probably a good reason not to associate major revisions to projects with a specific version-next number until something is nearly ready to ship. #Perl's big revision ( Perl 6 ) wound up being declared "a separate language in the Perl family" instead of a replacement.
