I have not managed to boot openbsd with my #Libreboot Laptop, yet. Guess it only works with #seabios and not with #grub.

I have bought a new mainboard, a #MSI #Z87-G43 as my old main board had RAM controller trouble (won't turn on if I plug in proper DDR2 RAM into first 2 slots). Now with the new mainboard I had trouble with #UDMA together with a borrowed #SiliconImage #PCI0680 Ultra ATA-133 controller. For my #MAXTOR STM3160215A I had to lower speed to 1.5GB/s and for my two #WDC WD3200AVJB-63J5A0 I had to set this in #grub:
iommu=pt intel_iommu=off libata.force=2:udma2
The first was needed, too.

@mk This is what I used to repair teh GRUB problem with my Mint install: http://sourceforge.net/projects/boot-repair-cd/ - I burnt a CD, but if you might need to use it while on the go, stick it on a USB stick! highly recommended. !linux #grub #boot #repair
