Just realizing: An easy way to repeat notices from a "remote" instance in "your" instance is to attach a reply to it. Via this "conversation" the notice becomes part of the Public Timeline of "your" instance.

If git.io users had write access to the project's wiki, we would have a centralized, "official" place for doc/faq. But that would require tweaking gitlab permissions, I guess.
Otherwise we can create #bots that crawl known !gs #faq pages and spits answers ;)
