lnxw48 (Linux Walt) (lnxw48)'s status on Saturday, 30-Jan-2016 16:34:12 CET lnxw48 (Linux Walt) @nds I've now read one of the submitted issues. ISTM the person does not understand how feeds work (maybe add to your docs). #Spigot is a new #RSS / #Atom subscriber, so it grabs everything that any other feed subscriber would see. If $USER does not want $SUBSCRIBER to see old articles, s/he should reduce the number of articles in the feed or publish new articles frequently.
Otherwise, do not give up on your project just because someone does not grok what it does or how it does it. -

Not Navigium Anymore (old account) (navigium)'s status on Monday, 29-Jun-2015 21:24:38 CEST Not Navigium Anymore (old account) I don't think #Atom is ready for me yet. I'll stick to my vim/emacs combo. -
Not Navigium Anymore (old account) (navigium)'s status on Monday, 29-Jun-2015 17:11:40 CEST Not Navigium Anymore (old account) I quite like the #Atom editor. It's a pity it seems to be only used by Mac users. The documentation doesn't mention anything else. To change the spell checking language it tells you to change the OSX system language. -
Temporary Marjolein (mk)'s status on Monday, 08-Jun-2015 18:36:31 CEST Temporary Marjolein very busy preparing my notes (adding dates and such where missing) so I can start "importing" them in my #wordpress on Hal (the #nas). I'd also like to import my various rumblings about setting up WordPress here into posts, so I looked up some candidates. This should at least be possible, but I discovered the #atom feed is far from valid (using the W3C validator) so it's doubtful that could be imported. At least the RSS feed *is* valid. -
mmn (mmn)'s status on Sunday, 07-Jun-2015 19:24:18 CEST mmn @pettter @lochland@quitter.se no #RSS or #Atom on the blog? :) It'd give me a good reason to fix the hub-less FeedPoller plugin for !gnusocial so you can follow generic feeds without their own PuSH backends. -
Manuel Ortega (manuel)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Apr-2015 02:21:31 CEST Manuel Ortega This is how !gs !gnusocial now works An #OStatus server produces an #Atom feed of status-update messages, which are pushed to subscribers using #PubSubHubbub. Replies to status updates are sent using the #Salmon protocol, while the other features of microblogging, such as follower/following relationships are implemented as #ActivityStreams Is this the future? An #OStatus server produces an #Atom feed of X, which are pushed to subscribers using #PubSubHubbu…
