If you vote for "the lesser evil" when a #3rd_Party candidate would best represent your interests you're perpetuating the corrupt #twin_parties' grip on power and cheating our future generations.

@whistlewright I've not really looked at my #3rdParty choices yet. My mail-in ballot should arrive soon, so I'll look them over then.

@pilic The lesser evil is still evil. Would you consider voting for a #3rd_party candidate both #twin_parties candidates were (in your estimation) bad for the country?

As a business major, I shifted from always voting for the Democrats to mostly voting for the Republicans. During the 1988 and 1992 elections, I found little for vote FOR and much to vote AGAINST, so I became a "vote against your worst fear" voter. After 9/11 and the Patriot Act, I realized that both of the #twin_parties represent my worst fears and neither represents anything I view as positive. Since that time, I've been a #3rd_party voter.

@daw I, too, find it baffling that they'd rather support the other #twin_parties candidate than open their minds to a #3rd_party candidate. I'd support Bugs Bunny before either Ms Clinton or Mr Trump.

I really wish more people would pay attention to #3rdParty candidates. If they did, we wouldn't be stuck with the awful choice of Donald #Trumplestiltskin Trump vs #Hillary "The Rules Do Not Apply To Me" Clinton.

Both of the twin parties' candidates are frighteningly ignorant and bellicose. Would that most US voters would actually consider #3rdParty candidates.
-
Remember: we don't have to choose from the "choices" offered by the twin parties. We can vote for a #3rdParty candidate, if any such candidate is closer to our personal beliefs and values.

Currently it strips #HTML off and leaves a gap behind. Well, it is somehow good, because !diaspora directly links images resulting in #3rd-party requests (outside the server) which may be a !privacy issue.
