Fortunately I don't need to check on non-blocking I/O as 99.9999% of all my connections are IPv4-based (yes no IPv6 is currently supported). So I just need to clear the "error" "operation in progress" in PHP's socket facility and treat it as okay, too. :-( Cost me some time to figure that out ...

And I have continued with my !hub code and #wds66 community. :-)

Wie das aussehen mag, stelle ich erstmal dahin. Aber nun gut, ich muss mal weiter an meinem !hub Projekt machen. :-)

I have refactured a large part of my !hub code away from TCP-only connections to a more flexible protocol-handler approach. The old way was ip:port only, now I have something like protocol://address by "address" can be ip:port again or also a fax number, #ham (packet radio) address or anything else you can "connect" to. This whole refacturing is nearly complete. :-)
