@drymer Twidere basically works with Quitter, but things like image upload, DM, … don't work

@drymer StatusNet and GNUsocial are the same platform. StatusNet has been renamed to GNUsocial.
-
@mcscx2 !gnusocial has been merged with #statusnet code to continue it due to the stopped support by #Evan. This is what I have read.
-
@mcscx #AndStatus is probably the recommended third party client today, which also includes Twitter support if people think that's necessary.
-
@shevek #Twidere 0.2.9.12 works (basic features) with Quitter, but not 0.3.0. Use "basic Auth", https://quitter.se/api .I just checked this
-
@shevek But: Twidere is "optimized" for Twitter. So unlike #real GNUsocial apps like Andstatus&Mustard, #Twidere has no PublicTimeline, etc.

@drymer GNUsocial has seen some development since the rename from StatusNet, but no disruptive changes. You can compare StatusNet: oracle.skilledtests.com to GNUsocial: status.vinilox.eu (they're both with Classic web ui)
