Richard Stallman and GNU refused to let libreboot go, despite stating its intention to leave
https://libreboot.org/gnu-insult/
- clacke repeated this.

@dolus This could have been resolved better like what happened with Nano a couple of months ago. But that text only makes the case for a fork of Libreboot.
-
@hfaust The developer of nano was actually sane though.
-
@dolus @hfaust In particular the #gnunano issue was "Don't like these stupid GNU rules!!" "Actually those aren't the rules." "Oh, ok then."
-
@dolus @hfaust ... whereas Leah decided to hate the FSF and put an ultimatum that won't be met. Cannot be resolved by explaining things.
-
@dolus rms has not yet made any decision regarding GNU Libreboot, and Leah knows that; he plainly stated so nearly a week ago.
I'll keep my other comments to myself until things are settled on GNU's side. But what she has posted is beyond disrespectful to every person quoted; she's lashing out at anyone and anything.
My last statement regarding the broader issue: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/libreboot/2016-09/msg00063.html
