I've just logged into my two Diaspora* accounts, and it's pretty quiet over there. Although I did find out in the process that the server my pump.io account is on is dead. Is Diaspora* dead? Is pump.io dead? Is !GNUsocial really the place to be?

@mmn I have no idea, to be honest. I liked the idea and ethos of Diaspora*, but if there's no-one on there then there's no incentive to use it.

@thelovebug I don't have a Diaspora account but I heard searching for and following hashtags is a way to find some activity there

@thelovebug Diaspora is very alive. You only have to follow some persons.
-
@thelovebug depends on who you follow and what they're posting!

@mcscx @thelovebug As with other #socnets, who you are connected to affects your perception of usage levels. My #Diaspora timeline isn't super busy, but it is adequate. Still, I'd love to see more interfederation between D, #GS, #Friendica, #Pump.io and even #movim and #buddycloud
