Read another alleged eyewitness refutation of one of the stories from the ioerror hit site. Difficult to know how credible it is. I'm not much interested in sex scandals, but this years Tor project machinations are a very clear illustration that it may be technically difficult to break a cryptosystem like Tor but it's relatively easy to break a community by making claims which are difficult to either prove or refute.

@6loss pentesting for communities. I'm not sure that would work well though. Probably the only good defense is the presumption of innocence until there is clear evidence.

@bob I like the idea of testing your community for resilience though, socially as well as pure crisis management. Maybe it's even a fast track way to individuals getting over their own egos :)

@6loss some sort of role play for common community disintegration scenarios might be useful for some groups. One would be the unverifiable sex scandal, another would be enter the dragon-troll and another would be where did the donations go.
