@mmn yes, I think people who participate in international movements, like we in the Free Software movement have an advantage in this area. At least I work with (and meet) people all over the world on a regular basis, both during my day-to-day job and during my volunteering work. Most people are really nice and some are not so nice. But it was never the nationality, skin color, gender or religion which made a difference.
