What distribution do you use - and why do you stick to it? What makes you enjoy using it?
-
@lakwnikos I use debian for some of my development stuff (I need proper graphics drivers for the type of thing I do), but other then that I use gNewSense..I really like that OS (same for regular debian). I tried Parabola for a while, but I switched back.

@stigatle !opensuse Tumbleweed, because it's the easiest to package for, also rolling.
-
@xrevan86 @stigatle for me it's !opensuse Leap - enterprise grade, very stable & integrated, awesome #kde support, long lifetime too
-
@xrevan86 @stigatle I currently prefer Debian stable on the server and Opensuse Leap on the desktop.
(Maybe Leap on the server and Tumbleweed on the desktop could also do the job, but I am quite happy with my current setup.)
-
@cyberkiller @stigatle @xrevan86 I also like #Opensuse for it's "nice KDE".
-
@stigatle arch for everything! because I need latest stuff. openSUSE for family, trisquel for FreedomLovers ;)
-
@stigatle I usually have one laptop running Gentoo (or !Funtoo or sometimes Sabayon) and one running a Debian-derived distro (usually Linux Mint or Debian; occasionally Kubuntu). I have a Windows machine, too. If I am lucky enough to have extra hardware or I feel like exploring, I'll install NixOS or Chakra or whatever.
-
I use Manjaro/Xfce or Manjaro/MATE because it's the right combination of Arch and userfriendliness. I really like rolling release.
-
@stigatle Debian Testing with 3rd party repo for Spotify and Plasmazilla (Firefox+KDE design).
Lots of updates every day but no serious breakage.
-
@stigatle My wife uses Debian stable with Gnome and really enjoys it. Hassle free though it's a crappy (in terms of freedom) Lenovo Ideapad.

@gryps ditch xfwm4 for i3 :)

I tested it but can't get warm with tiled window managers
