mmn (mmn)'s status on Saturday, 16-Apr-2016 00:50:38 CEST mmn @einebiene I subscribe to all my RSS feeds in #Firefox ("smart bookmarks" or whatever they're called). As mentioned by others a podcast is just ordinary RSS with a media file attached, so it should work fine for that too. - Manuel Ortega likes this.

mmn (mmn)'s status on Saturday, 16-Apr-2016 01:19:17 CEST mmn @einebiene No, the RSS feed reader is built-in! :)
I usually just go to the URL of the feed, then select "subscribe" and select to add it to the bookmark field, then it's readily available. Try this for my !GNUsocial profile feed for example: https://social.umeahackerspace.se/api/statuses/user_timeline/mmn.atom - so if you get the RSS feed for a podcast you can do the same procedure (and probably some other way too). -
