@boneidol now studying man find and beginning to see how I might be able to use this - I think I'll start building another "framework" for this where I can later plug in an exec or xargs. #tea first :)
@lnxw48 by now I've unlearned to much Perl that I know only marginally more than bash for 'sysadmin scripting' - and I'd have to search an equal amount to gather teh 'pieces' I'd need. And I don't know TclTk at all, and even less of Python than Perl. :D Besides, I want to learn bash (and all the other Linux tools I can use with that: rsync-ls-find-xargs-chown...) - I'm learning a lot and I want (and like) that.
