Today is a great day. A day when first API method will be crafted. !gstools website will have an ability to give you a list of instances that open for registration. #yay
- Roland Häder likes this.

@pztrn I have enabled #Xmpp, can you please update my entry? And I cannot subscribe the group for #gstools.
-
@roland it will update automagically, updater launches every 3 hours for dev instance and every 6 hours for production one. Just give it some time :)
-
Okay, API coded, but not deployed. Today after #workDay I will do it :)
-
@roland by the way, I see no Statistics plugin installed: http://url.pztrn.name/1qh. #StatisticsPlugin is a requirement for now, because it isn't merged with mainline yet. You can get it here: http://url.pztrn.name/1qi (address to clone is on the sidebar).
-
@pztrn I would like to recommend you to create the "common" folder structure plugins/Statistics/ so people can easily merge it. Plus recommend them to set a symbolic link StatisticsPlugin.php to the proper version and ignore that symbolic link for maintaining a clean clone path.
-
So in commands:
mkdir --parent plugins/Statistics/
git add plugins
git mv *.php README.md actions plugins/Statistics/
Then edit .gitignore in root directory and add plugins/Statistics/StatisticsPlugin.php to be ignored.
-
@roland this is a very bad idea, especially if you gitpulling gnusocial.
-
Why? With this current way I have to create the sub folder and leave a dirty work copy behind (which I then cannot commit).
