@windigo Does the Invite-button work? To create a test account I sent an invite to one of my email accounts. It said the invite had been sent, but it didn't reach my account.
-
@simsa0 It should - but I think !gs might enforce a one-account-per-address policy. Worse comes to worse, I could set up an acct. manually.

1. I used an address with the same username but a different email provider than the one I have for my account here on MFD > didn't get through.

# 2 should be working. So perhaps something isn't right on MFD's side.

@simsa0 Invites are working; I sent a test to an outside mail server. Could messages from "noreply@micro.fragdev.com" be blocked?
-
Where can I look that up?
-
@simsa0 You'd have to check with whoever runs your mail server.
-
Ok, I don't know how to that, But if invites are working on your side, then the problems lie on my side. Then we can leave it here.
-
@windigo @simsa0 Could it be the #GMX / #GMail thing? ISTR #FragDev is blocked by GMX (though spam-king #Hotmail / outlook dot com passes right through).
-
tried gmx and yahoo ...
-
@lnxw48 @windigo ... and now yahoo came through.
-
@simsa0 Maybe they use greylisting (requesting mail gets resent later to prevent spam)? :)
-
@lnxw48 @simsa0 Heathens! I'll have to look into improving my server setup; we have SPF records for fragdev.com, but not micro.fragdev.com.
-
I managed to register the new test account. Will be deleted again soon.
-
@simsa0 Awesome! :)

Indeed. I am incredible proud of myself :-)
