Also, did any of the developers care to take notice to the list naming problem I posted about yesterday? I mean, unless SN federation is so horribly broken that you somehow didn't receive that notice... oh wait.

@speeddefrost I saw something about list naming, but was not sure what you meant. Not that I'm a "developer" of this or anything other application.
-
"... anything other ..." → "... any other ..."
-
You see the "LISTS" thing on the left side of the page? Click one of the lists, edit, erase the name, submit. It will respond with an error but retardedly enough it still erases the name and renders it inaccessible and undeletable because URLs can't contain null tokens.
I see what people mean when they say bad developers will code like shit in any langauge, but I still think bad developers are simply attracted to shit langauges to begin with ...and PHP is a shit language.
-
@speeddefrost Oh, that's poorly done. Has it been like this since #StatusNet 1.0 (I think that's about when lists appeared)?
-
Probably. @evan didn't even null.
-
Oh look, no null check. Just an attempt to update the list and if it fails, which it should when the tag is null, writes it to the database anyway. And webshitters just love to hate on C developers for "making themselves miserable" with all that error/memory/null checking, completely glossing over how full of shit they are.

There's no way that can't be it. PeopleTags are not the same thing and this file looks way too "bolted onto StatusNet" to not be the source of the problem.
