It seems there's a lot of Police Brutality Denialism on my Facebook feed. And these are the same people who WANT to become cops? What in the absolute fuck is wrong with them?

@speeddefrost It is maybe not my type of music, but show them the video "That's what happens when you call the cops", or so. I don't know its exact title, but it is #rap.

If you look at the consumptive practices of police (ie: magazines, internet browsing habits) it becomes obvious what the problem is: authority culture. They've been conditioned into thinking authority is natural and that they're the "chosen ones" who could never be wrong regardless of how much harm they cause.

You can't really help these people, especially when it's them who claim that they "want to help people." I'm not even going to attempt it. I'd rather delete my FB account, but family wont let that happen.

Basically, greedy people with tendencies to become butthurt are drawn to the idea of authority with impunity and doing whatever they want without repurcussion. Of course they'd never admit it but that's exactly the kind of lifestyle that they're after.
