Roland Häder (roland)'s status on Monday, 16-Feb-2015 10:30:11 CET Roland Häder @encycl be careful now, as more #spam registrations may/will happen. I had my !gs instance open at the beginning as I like to give people a possibility to comunicate outside #capitalistic systems such as #twitter and #facebook.
If you don't know why I see them as capitalistic systems, just try to see it this way: They sell #private data to #advertisers based on their #data-mining algorhythms. Sure you can do the same here in the !fediverse but you have to collect all instances + you can ... -

But #facebook has full access to all our data, unless you use #gnupg for encrypting your posts there. And one more: How can you sell data to advertisers that is already public as it is with public dents? ;-) -

Charles Roth MPC (encycl)'s status on Monday, 16-Feb-2015 10:47:08 CET Charles Roth MPC red#matrix has some built in spam prevention measures:
1) email confirmation (weak)
2) no one can send you a post/dm/etc unless you give them a permission. Likewise you can shield any/all of your posts/pics/files etc to whatever extent you wish.Roland Häder likes this. -
